Home-sick???

I don't really know why but for some reason I have not felt home-sick one time since I got to Ball State. I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or a good thing because almost all of my peers have either already gone back home or seen their family at least once since college started. And most people have said that they are a little home-sick. I have kept in touch with family and friends but most of the time only through texting, and this seems to be fine by me. I feel like I have already adjusted to college life pretty within the past few weeks. I don't even plan on heading home until fall break, if that's the next closet break we have, I'm not sure. I guess it will be good to see everyone again, but it has felt nice to finally be away from home and being able to do what I want without the hassling of parents or siblings.
